When its nice outside, we just have to walk to the park. Actually, okay, going to the park is like torture for me. First we make sure to eat, pee and drink so we can play a long time. Done. Then we load up with bats, balls, jumpropes, hula hoops and walk there. We get there, the kids play for 10 minutes (if that) then beg to eat, beg to pee, beg to drink. I offer them their toys, figuring they are bored at the FUN park. No use, they dont want them. So then we load back up, walk back home, (dont) eat, (dont) pee, drink and.... I'm done. But no, its back to "Im bored, lets go to the park" I guess, if I were a smart mom, I would also load up snacks and drinks..maybe a toilet. Im not smart that way.
Back home we go.

I must be a mean mom because if we decide to go to the park and they forget to pee before I make them hold it. That or they have to figure out how to take care of it themselves. They are also responsible for their own treats. They don't bring them too bad! It works for church too! You're just a nicer mom than me.
don't we all feel that way?? I just love that you put it down. It is SERIOUS work, and I'm with you. Maybe the porta-potty should have wheels on it. :D
Cute bum...
I love this. I always feel like anything I plan and get excited over flops but then I find them playing with the boxes in the dump pile like they found a gold mine. Oh well, such is life. Your pictures are still my favorite!
I'm with you on this one. I always feel bad if I don't get the kids out of the house, especially on a beautiful day, but sometimes it can be a hassle. Although if plan ahead of time and go to a park with a restroom we can stay for hours and they boys love it. Otherwise we just walk a couple blocks up super steep hills and of course by the time we get to the top we all have to pee! UGH! Why don't they just make building restrooms are parks mandatory. It would make life so much easier. Once I caught Hyrum dropping his pants and peeing on a tree! That was super embarrassing! But what's a boy with a full bladder to do?!
Nice bum, where ya from? Cute pics. There is something about the park, or the other kids treats that makes us hungry?
Oh so true! I am so glad that I am not the only mom that DREADS going to the park. You said it perfectly! Love the cute bum! :)
I *almost* wish my kids would beg to go home from the park....instead they kick and scream, even if we have been there for hours.
I've heard those bed pans could work nicely! :-) Teasing. Love the thought. So true. It's almost too much work to get out and about sometimes! But, still-if a walk to the park produced the cutest bum shot...I'd keep a walkin there!
