Someday we plan on getting a new TV. The kind that is actually flat and we can hang on a wall. Today is not that day. Buddy had to go buy a digital converter box for our oh-so-ancient 2002 phillips model. After spending $10.00 on a stupid little box thats just one more piece of electronic equipment taking up space, and spending an hour reading the manual (because you KNOW its not a simple task) come to find out it doesnt work and we have to get an antenna. I would just bag it. but you know what?... I cant live without my Bachelor, London calling and Dancing with the stars. It bothers me that we have to buy something to get the TV that we already paid for to continue working. Why does the government (or whoever put this into motion) need more analog space anyway..Call me dumb, but I just dont get it and it bugs me. Not everything has to be in High def...get my drift?

wow, that tv is ancient. No wonder you cant get it to work!! j/k. Ya the whole tv thing sucks. try finding one maybe on craigslist or something!!

Yeah.. it's just one more thing to controll the little people. I think that the TV comanies should provide them all for people. What's next?
Bummer! I don't even know how old our TV is. We just keep getting hand-me-downs:)
