I'll pay you 5 bucks and give you a sucker.

Wow, January is proving to be a pretty uneventfull month. I feel so...blah and uncreative. I long to feel creative again, I think I need a project. Finally yesterday I was so tired of staying indoors, because I am a wimp in the cold, we went outside to run around for a while. I felt desperate to have my camera in my hands again, I have an awesome new lens now (much more on that later) but fat chance on getting anything decent with my two. I finally resorted to bribery with 5 dollars just for Bella to sit still for 2 seconds, and a sucker for moses to smile, the things I wont do for their smiles, and $5.00 for 2 seconds? What was I thinking! Also, I didnt win the halloween contest, not even 3rd place. Bummer. Thank you for all your votes though, at least you love me :)

Buddy is staying really busy with school, I cant beleive he will graduate in 9 short months, he is working so hard and I am incredibly proud of him. He speaks a different language now, medical jargon, I love to listen and am impressed with all that he has learned, I could never retain it, he is so smart.

I stay busy volunteering in Bella's kindergarten class as well as ramping up to be the Cookie mom for this years girl scout cookie sales. Bella overheard me talking to someone on the phone today. I must have said something that made her think I was worried about something and she said "mom, you are the cookie mom, you can do anything" (emphasis on the cookie mom ) I guess as long as I am the cookie mom, I can conquer the world, at least in her eyes. That made my day! I still love my job, I am looking forward to some trips this year...hopefully!

Moses is a tornado. He is a toy gun weilding, hulk hands wearing, T-rex of a little boy, and I just cant resist him. Anything he wants, he's putty in my hands. Buddy likes to give me a hard time about this. I will admit, he's my most favorite little guy in the world, I have to try harder to keep my push-overness for his (bucky little) smile under wraps, I am afraid he doesnt take me seriously. Ask Buddy, he will whole-heartedly agree.

Isabella is just a dear heart. She is reading like mad, in fact, I cant just gloss over boring books anymore, she knows when I have skipped words and wont let me turn the page until I read the whole thing...darn it. She read Dr. Seuss' Mr. Brown can Moo today, I love to hear her read, I tottally sport a perma smile, its so fun. We went on a girls night out to see a production of Annie at Bountiful H.S. a few nights ago, she loved it, as did I. She is getting excited for her own production of Enchanted comming up in May, I keep telling her she has to shake it shake it on her dance moves, she's pretty shy about it still. I pulled out my best moves for her today, I think she thinks I'm a nerd now. She's probley right. but heh, whatever works.
