Rain welcomed here!

This has been a scorcher of a summer compared to what we are used to..and its been positivly wonderful!!! Although I am sure we have several more weeks of nice warm weather to enjoy, today we had a little break and welcomed in the rain! Moses wanted nothing to do with the umbrella until after it stopped raining..and Bells wanted everything to do with it, so it worked out well for me, no arguing over the umbrella. Moses has a pretty awesome pair of rain boots, but the car shoes stole his attention...big surprise. It was a nice way to spend an hour this morning. Bella told me: "The rain smells heavenly" I must agree, I love it to. And who knew (I did) that the rain brings on so many worms, it was a worm fest for a little while, boy do my kids like the little critters! There is a darling book we checked out at the library called "Diary of a worm" its so cute..hence the fascination. Tommorow is the big day! Bells went to sleep feeling like a girl on Christmas Eve. I cant wait to hear how her 1st day goes!
