A delightful interpretation

Utah has changed me. Perhaps I should say a move has changed me. There is something to be said about a new environment, a new start if you will. As much as I would have loved to stay in Oregon, and look forward to going back, I am so happy that we have new surroundings, a fresh, bright new start to the year to work on things that should have long been worked on. Buddy laughs, but I seriously beleive that apartment of ours was draining the life out of me..I cant explain it, I just felt it....weird.All of the sudden, I am cooking up a storm, fixing something new and exciting every day .. whats more is that my family actually thinks its edible..and they like it! :) (thank you girlfriends cookbook!) All of the sudden, I feel like taking walks, in the snow no doubt! and its refreshing and such a boost! and most fantastic of all, I feel excited about family home evening and look forward to it instead of another thing I have to organize and try to get my kids to listen to when all they want to do is play and scream. Which brings me to this little delightfull peice of art. Last nights lesson was on Lehi's dream, we read it, talked about it, and she illustrated it. She did draw a few too many strait and narrow paths because she said one path wasnt enough for all the people. And dont you love Lehi's little smiley face family? I especially love her rendering of the mists of darkness, but my favorite part is the "Ha Ha". She doesnt want to be like "those guys" in the building, she wants to "eat fruit all day and watch Hannah Montana" next weeks lesson...idolness.
