blogging from Italy

We were up at 430 this morning to catch our train to Naples only to find out the subway stop was closed. So we took a cab to the train station. We laughed because we could have just done that in the first place and slept in another hour. Anyway, thats why I can do a quick blog update, we are on the Isle of Capri, in the MOST beautiful hotel I have ever seen. Im on the balcony overlooking the bay of naples with Mt Vesuvius in the distance. Its nice to have some down time after nonstop going. Capri is the reason I wanted to come to Italy. Ive had a fascination with it for years. Its hard to beleive I am actually here now. Its far exceeded my expectations, this whole trip has. I can wait to post all my pictures and stories. We just got back from the going in the Blue grotto. Oh my gosh, was it amazing!!! The water inside the cave "glows" a bright blue. Its the reflection from the sun on the sandy bottom floor. We had to lay down in the boat to get in because the passage way is so low. I had read some reviews that people thought it was overpriced and dissapointing. I thought the opposite It was wonderful. A memory I will not soon forget. We come home on Monday. I still cant beleive we flew here standby, but after the experiance, I am not worried about getting home. I know we'll make it.
