1. dont force the issue if its cold outside just because you want a picture of a cute new headband (I am in l.o.v.e. with this new accessory)
2. Miracles happen. first, she actually took a nap. Second, after only about 8 shots, I semi got a good exposure. It is extremely dark in this part of the house as far as picture taking goes, so its a challenge for sure.
For any wise photography friends who may stumble across my blog from time to time..can you tell me how to capture great catchlights? I am using my 85mm and it seems I have to be so far back in order to get the composition I want, but then I lose the detail in the eyes...how do I get that great light in her eyes?

What I would do is, google it your question about the lighting. I found so much help on Apple.com there is so much info regaurding photography, or Cannon.com. but you probally did that. Mom said you talked with her about some AMAZING news. Girls Weekend!!! Yippie!! I am in nEed..

I love that picture of Bella asleep. It looks so perfectly posed, even though it's not. I love her socks and she looks so cozy. I hope she is feeling better! I love her short hair.
I LOVE that headband! How timeless vintage! Sweet girl-it must take two Whoping ear aches to get her to sleep. SHe's usually so nonstop fun! Sweet girl! I hope she feels better-but it certainly made for a great picture!

Very great picture. I love the coloring...and I know nothing about photograpy except what my eye likes.
What GREAT pictures! You are doing such a FANTASTIC job... I think pictures of them sleeping are the best. Sometimes I just want to watch them sleeping for hours, and I never think to go grab a camera. You are too cute!
