The 1st time I noticed this was happening, I ran to get the camera, I was too late, she was only 1 1/2 and lost interest *really* fast, but the 2nd time, I was ready. It was the 1st day I was able to put her hair in piggy tails, all moms with girls know what a proud moment that is :) I asked her what she was doing "waiting daddy" she said.
Now, 2 1/2 years and longer pigtails later, I ask her the same thing "Waiting for Daddy" Im feeling tender thoughts of her tonight because lately, she has been "testing the waters" as you would say, and I have likely been unduly harsh with her. I was looking through recent photos and saw this one.
It struck a heartstring.
