we're back..sorry so long

First off, the trip to Utah was GREAT! Everything we wanted to accomplish was done, so we are feeling good. For those that know this about me, I appologize for yet again bringing it up in such a sappy manner, BUT..... I do LOVE it when my kids meet the Grands and the Greats as we call them. When Isabella was a baby, I made all of them write her a letter for her scrapbook. Moses, well, he may not get letters (as I am not as ambitious) but he will get a magazine cover! Its always a tender moment for me when I see my younglings meet such seasoned vets. I get giddy seeing them holding hands or giggling. Its just so neat to me to have heard about his experiances during the great depression, how his family (all 15 of them!) were lucky to get meat on Fridays (hotdogs) and standing in line for potatoes. Or his service in the war in the 20's. To contrast that with the newness of my little boy and wonder what lies before him in his life is truly a treasure for me to ponder. I am so excited for our kids to know their Greats in Utah, even if for a short time. I dont remember mine, I suppose young Bella and Moses wont either, that is why I try so hard to record their life with words and photos and books. They really are precious to me.
