In the month of December

In no particular order...

As room mom, we had a fun Christmas party for Bellas first grade class. I love the moms that always help, it makes my job so easy and fun :)

Ate lunch with Bella one day at school. It was so fun for me, I loved listening to all of the little first grade talk. Bella has made some really nice friends here, I love that she is having such a great year.


Got our Christmas tree a week before Christmas... For a good price too :)



Decorated Ornaments and made a huge mess. Moses called his the "car wash orma-nenths" He slapped paint all over them and had the best time. Bella was a little more meticulous, she even put snow inside. Shes our artsy one.





Made a bunch of Christmas cookies, which will have to be another post, Photobucket is not my friend tonight.

Its the year of the Nutcracker at our house. Moses is just infatuated with them. We have ourselves a nice little collection now. He likes to play soldiers with them and Buddy and I think its the best ever. Nutcrackers would be a fun collection I think.

This is his first one and he played with it nonstop. Thank you Target for hours of entertainment.



Celebrated a half birthday. Bellas teacher celebrates all of the June birthdays on their birthdate in December. So the 16th was Bellas 6 1/2 birthday party at school. She took a bag with items that she felt represented her. It consisted of her Christmas Bells she gets from Santa each year off the sleigh, her dibbie (blanket) a Junie B. Jones book, lipgloss, an art set and a doll. She was so excited about it being her half birthday that we made her a half cake with 6 and 1/2 candles.

Its been a fun month, with so much going on. We feel so happy to have been able to enjoy more this year. Last year was special because lets be honest, we were b.r.o.k.e. and its not like we are living it up now, but its really nice to be in a more comfortable place to enjoy fun things and not constantly worry about how we are going to do it. We count our blessings for sure and definatly owe alot of gratitude for each other and making it through the year. School is done, we are on to the "next stage" and I am excited about our future and experiances that have made us learn more about ourselves this year.
