At work today, Buddy was asked why he had to have tommorow off. When he said it was because of his anniversary, everyone wanted to know how many years. Turns out most everyone is divorced, and whats more, a few people each had 3- 4 marriages that didnt even total 9 years. It is interesting to me how much more common it is becoming (or maybe Im just realizing ) that marriage is not esteemed to be such a valuable and longlasting endeavor. I for one am so thankful that my marriage does not fit that mold! I think I will save my sappy words for the card :) Heres to 9 years B..I love you.
