The Animal Fair

When I was young, my parents used to sing me this song: We went to the animal fair, the birds and the bee's were there, the old baboon by the light of the moon was combing his auburn hair, the monkey he got stuck (used to be drunk, I changed it for my generation) and sat on the elephants trunk, the elephant sneezed and fell on his knees and that was the end of the monkey, then monkey the monkey! So, I do realize its not the best wording for a kids song, but it has a darn catchy tune that my kids just LOVE (as do I)! SO, today, we did go to the animal fair, and we climbed Mt. Everest, which I am pretty sure is just as bad as hiking a stoller up the long hill to get out of there! We had a blast. The weather was perfect and the animals were in active form, which we loved. Moses found a toy rhino that he held tight too while being chauffered in his stroller, while ISabella sported an elephant hat that her Grandma bought her. Thanks to Grandma Coleman, we can now visit the zoo with our family pass anytime we want...any takers on a zoo afternoon?
